why does nearly every country leader wear a 'business suit'? why is this the standard dress among 'professionals, bankers, businessmen and politicians in nearly every single country?

Also, importantly, why those wannabe juntist (is that a word? :confused:) faux-guerrilla role-player types do exactly the same; nothing like a an aspirational aesthetic to get the party started, who cares whether or not you actually belong to the clique or are just imitating it...or perhaps the clique is in fact imitating itself...

Are you asking about the actual history of the business suit as a garment? I can't post links just yet, but the wikipedia page on "Suit (clothing)" may be a good starting point.:)
