A youtube video series which does a nice job debunking the lies by said creationists and reveals why they are a laughing stock.

No doubt he has made some good videos but Thunderf00t is an idiot and an Islamophobe that likes taking other people's videos out of context to make himself look like the victor.

I haven't watched any of his debates and only stick to his creationist series but without a doubt he is, like most militant bourgeois atheists, a Islamaphobe. His aforementioned series is good but is brought down by the spoken of reactionary gems littered throughout the videos.

creationists are those same people who were refused Evolution theory before now talking about smart design thing , when there first line of defense falls
don't be cocky though , there is a large areas science haven't discover , that's where you find Creationists , as for example the origin of life .
do you how much complicated is the design of a single protein ? it's hard to believe some entire cell structure just happened to be together and started working
the most amazing thing is the very complex cell structure , not to mention multi cellular beings

Take the video ID after watch?v= and then just place it inside Youtube tags.

Care to prove it?
To be honest though, being an "idiot and islamophobe" doesn't stop you from making the occasional good point and debunk them automatically.

Care to prove it?
It was in one of his videos: the typical Western bourgeois militant atheist belief that though all religions are bad Islam has a special viciousness. He has like 36 or so videos and I can't be bothered to find the exact one.
It is in there though.

His main beef is with the riots and murder that take place every time someone publicly offends Islam or Mohammed. I think he's got a point.

I didn't watch the video yet, but I think it's a pretty piss-poor state of mind to laugh at creationists. Most of them don't know any better.
For example, I was a creationist in high school. I was in Bible Belt America for my education and was never taught anything that went against my creationist beliefs. All I can say is, thank God (lol) for the internet or I'd still be in the dark about a lot of science-related stuff.
The best way to approach a creationist isn't to make fun of their ignorance but rather to inspire a curiosity for science and learning in them. Granted, those folks who spew it off pulpits and shit are lost causes but...I dunno. Maybe I'm wasting my time with such speech.
I just know there was a time in my life where I was that stupid and I couldn't help it because I hadn't been taught any different. :crying:
But now I'm commie and educated so there's no goin' back. :hammersickle:

No, that doesn't take place "every time" someone publicly offends Islam or Mohammad. That's basically just hyperbole and anti-immigration fearmongering.
And still, he's barking at the wrong tree. Islam isn't at fault, the terrible state of education is. With low rates of literacy and uneducated populace, is it any fucking wonder some of the poorer Middle Eastern people don't have a clear idea of the actual situation and what they're protesting? That there's a slight chance that they're being manipulated by the local ruling class?

It's worth mentioning that he also received death threats from an Islamic Youtube user he was debating with:

Although the creationist-video series is amusing, he has shown himself to make pretty... embarrassing videos at other times, often reflecting a smug intellectual attitude, the typical "enlightened liberal"-type deals, which included that ridiculous "Draw Muhammad-day" debacle and what seemed like a friendly relation to growing UKIP nutter and developing nationalist Pat Condell, who also at first became famous for his "atheist" videos and later just concentrated on making daft, racist and nationalist shit videos.
Yeah, YouTube drama. Always worth mentioning.

I much prefer TheLivingDinosaur's "Holy Hallucinations" series to be honest. He sticks to the point and on the subject (taking apart the creationist's claims) while avoids the implicated Bourgeois islamaphobia and/or militarism
And basically he's more professional about it as well. Plus it's funnier at times.
Not sure if TF is an actual scientist, but TheLivingDinosaur is I think.

Well, nothing I've seen of his indicates that he singles out Islam. The "draw mohammed" thing is clearly a troll on Muslim fundamentalists, and what the fuck is wrong with that?

TF actually is a scientist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Mason
But I agree, that TF does misstep quite a lot, especially when dealing with "Banana Man" Ray Comfort.
PS: Holy Hallucinations is the best science series on YouTube.

I'll admit that sometimes I get a real kick out of creationist jackasses like Kent Hovind, (Presently serving time for tax evasion.) and his contemporaries. However; it's a lot less funny when you recall that a frighteningly large strata of the American public is actually swayed by this crap. Today, in the United States, between half, and two-thirds of the American public believes in this crap. Even more disturbing is that evidence suggests this number is actually increasing.

Moral Orel
The program takes place in the fictional capital city of Moralton, in the fictional Bible Belt state "Statesota." According to the globe shown in the opening credits, Moralton is in the exact center of the United States, with the town's church at the exact center of the town.
The main character is Orel Puppington, a student at Alfred G. Diorama Elementary School, who tries to live by the Protestant Christian moral code as articulated in church or by his father, Clay. Orel naïvely follows this code to illogical extremes, with disastrous results. The series is a parody of the archetypes of 1950s American suburban life, modern-day WASP culture and Christianity.
