Its well known that intelexuals are not to be very trusted. For many reasons that have been analysed in the past many many times. Now, the proffesional shit-talkers, the people that are making communists the pets of popular bourgeois salons, are, one after the other, lead people to its mouse trap, showing them the cheese.
I am talking mostly on Tariq Ali and Slavoj Zizek.
The first is guest of ANTARSYA on NAR's youth festival, Anaireseis. He gave yesterday a speach in Thesaloniki, in which he supported...SYRIZA and called for the destruction of KKE! Mind you, ANTARSYA has kept distances from SYRIZA's social-democratic programm.
Then Slavoj Zizek, the well known clown, wrote a letter on how SYRIZA is the future of Europe itself(not even EU!) and tommorow he gives a speech at a gathering SYRIZA is doing.
Is this the kind of intelexuals the people need nowdays? Those that claim "revolutionary" but run to support the last barricades capitalism has? Are these people helping to clear in peoples minds tha situation or on the contrary they are bluring the view? Food for thought.

Yes, yes, they're conspiring to prop up capitalism. That's really the only reasonable explanation. Goodness knows it isn't possible to have disagreements within the anti-capitalist left. The KKE or capitalism. Those are the only conceivable alternatives ever.
What do you expect from the West? Half the people even on this site are convinced that if Greece leaves the EU it will result in pandemonium with wild dogs roaming the streets tearing babies into itty bitty pieces. Essentially they all believe that the Greeks would be reduced to stupefied savagery were it not for the civilizing light of the EU.

SYRIZA is not "anticapitalist Left" by no relation. Its a euroleft reformist party in a country that boils, the last hope of capitalsm to not have to resort to a coup maybe.

Hi, how are you? Well, you are right. And from my own humble opinion. I think that there are 2 kinds of left in most countries of the world. The real left which are usually the followers of the ideology of Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Mao, Stalin, Gramsci, etc. And the social-democrats, progressive liberals, also labeled as "College left" "Middle Class Left" "Mainstream Left" who call themselves leftists, and part of the left, but they are centrists really. And I think that most of these social-democrats in the USA are Michael Moore, Amy Goodman, Norman Solomon, Paul Krugman, Cenk Uygur (The guy of The Young Turks), Dennis Kucinich, Noam Chomsky, Matt Taibi, Tom Engelheart, Michael Parenti, Chris Hedges, Laura Flanders, Max Keiser, Thom Hartmann, Jessy Jackson, Bernie Sanders, and the writters, and thinkers of these websites http://www.commondreams.org http://www.truthdig.com http://www.counterpunch.org http://www.salon.com http://www.alternet.org http://www.socialistworker.org http://www.democracynow.org http://www.rt.com and many many other alternative news websites that have wonderful good articles. Great anti-war articles. But they stop there, and do not advocate for a Marxist Revolutionary United Front, and a government of the working class and poor citizens, with nationalizations of corporations under worker's control as a solution for the crisis of USA and Europe and many other countries

Even presupposing these guys are wrong in what they say, intellectuals are allowed to make mistakes ... despite getting many things brilliantly right, Marx also said some dumb shit, it doesn't mean people should scream about how horrible intellectuals like Marx are. It seems like if these are intellectuals making an argument you disagree with, the possibility exists for you to argue back with analysis and reason and not emotion and personal attacks. Zizek can be *wrong*, I've seen him say many things I disagree with ... it doesn't make him a "scumbag" in my eyes. Part of being an intellectual is having the right to posit a thesis which may be partially or completely true or false. This is why intellectual arguments are based on premises which can be attacked.

The way forward for Greece lies in nationalizing the banks, putting severe controls on capital flows, and putting all major industries under public ownership. Greece must fully repudiate the debt.
The next few days, weeks, or at the most months are certain to bring a shitstorm. Greece is already a devastated society.Leaving or being forced out of the Eurozone can only be a plus. The European "project" is in its death throes, condemned by the contradictions of capitalism.
Greece could have a hard "Grexit" or a soft Grexit".A hard Grexit could have potentially devastating consequences and lead to another, much worse crisis, but if not caused by this, the crisis would by something else. The crisis is like a dam, when one leak is plugged, another leak will develop elsewhere.
Syriza has severe drawbacks but a Syriza victory in 17 June could be a significant event. They would be elected on a platform of the rejection of austerity. They will crystallize this rejection among the Greek and European working classes. They will have to deliver, in spite of themselves.
The KKE obviously hates Syriza. This rejection of Syriza doesn't seem based on a principled political stand. The KKE could offer a principled critique of Syriza and offer a very minimum basis for common work-they've done this before, in 1989 when the KKE briefly had been in a coalition gov't with New Democracy !

look at delenda's location.
not everyone here speaks english as a first language. delenda may actually speak english as a first language and is not native to Greece, regardless; you can obviously still understand it.
