View Full Version : From each according to his ability, to each according to his need

Explain to Cyric why Cyric should give wholly of his abilities.

Explain to Cyric why Cyric should be allotted some measure of "need" instead of that which Cyric want and that which Cyric - through volition, ability and circumstance - can.

Thus duty-bound would not Cyric be slave to his fellow man? Whereas in nature, nature that created Cyric, and some would say inherently Cyric's own nature, is not the reverse true? Are not Cyric, his fellow man, and all creatures in this world, fundamentally and essentially at odds?

If you want to survive and don't want to face exile, you'd exert your forces to keep you and your family fed, clothed, and sheltered. Of course, depending on the circumstances, which is the attitude of the commune, if you do not do so, you'll possibly be exiled.QBoQQRxX8i4 Or, if circumstances are tantamount as it was in Spain, you'd be allowed enough land you could work yourself. If you do not work, I'm sure someone will have the compassion to craft a nice coffin, and dig you a grave.

You work to your abilities (which is the same as can), and you're allocated your needs.

If you consider slavery being the master of machine, working not for surplus-value, but for need (which is natural).

Also, I believe you're a troll.

Maybe we should start with why Cyric talk in the third person caveman first?

Explain to Cyric why Cyric should give wholly of his abilities.

No. That's irrelevant. Cyric should learn that societies function on contentment, not happiness.

Because RevU will not allow you. Explain to RevU, Mr Cyric, why Queen Elizabeth should not be allotted that which Elizabeth, through volition ability and circumstance, has achieved.

Thus duty-bound would not Cyric be slave to his fellow man?
Unless one lives in a cave by themself, if you want to put "slavery" in these rhetorical terms, one will always be slave to his fellow humans; that means Cyric too.

Whereas in nature, nature that created Cyric,
Society is just as much a part of nature as a zygote.

and some would say inherently Cyric's own nature, is not the reverse true?
Yes, Cyric (and all of us) face quite the paradox. We are fundamentally free, yet society functions (and can only function) on coercion.
Live with it or die unhappy. The choice is up to Cyric.

Are not Cyric, his fellow man, and all creatures in this world, fundamentally and essentially at odds?

At odds and in cooperation. Cyric holds on to far too many absolutes, and as such faces difficulty understanding the vast, complex, and systemic nature of reality.

Get lost, troll.

Hello.
I'm not a leftist.
Not sure what I'm doing here but
maybe that will come to me in time.
