Came upon this forum on a random web search, decided it was worth my time and decided to join. I tend to have a lot of common ground with Maoists, but also find common ground with other lines of communist thought (including some Luxemburgism, as well as some smaller, less common tendencies). I come from a rather conservative background; my father being a former local GOP chairman, city councilman, and still continues to vet Republican candidates for congress, and my mother is a former member of the NYS Conservative Party.
