I've lurked the forums for a few months and decided to create an account. I had the hardest time coming up with a username, and I feel mine is largely without meaning, but I first read about the idea of the "Holy Fool" in an introduction to Dostoevsky's The Possessed and the idea amuses me.
I'm in my late twenties and have worked in a warehouse for about ten years. I live in the Pacific Northwest, USA. I know no other anti-capitalists "in real life".
I love watching films especially in theaters. A few of my favorites are The Big Lebowski, Being John Malkovich, and Miller's Crossing.
I have within the past few years started reading again, a pastime I enjoyed as a child. I try to read books about anarchism, communism, philosophy, and fiction with class struggle or utopian themes.
I am very much a "newbie", but I hope to contribute positively where I can. I assume I will be hanging out in the Learning and Literature & Films forums mostly.
