Greetings. Im originally from China and have been living permenantly in the United States for the last couple of years in order to attend school there. I never become profoundly interested in politics until I was naturalized as a citizen of the United States with the chance of voting in this year's coming elections. To my dismay, most of the politicians are a joke with my personal exception of Ron Paul. Through my research of Ron Paul and his ideas, I became more fully aware of the political situation of the world and how the capitalist-dominated world is causing so much suffering and injustices to millions of people around the world. Thus I am fully committed to ending such tyranny and hope this site will further help me understand one of the ways of combating this element. Thanks.

I hope you understand that Ron Paul is neither anarchist nor socialist and definately not revolutionary.
That said...welcome to the site.

Welcome to the site: to help you better understand the dynamics of Leftists and Ron Paul it goes like this:
Ron Paul: *blabbes on about abolishing the fed,and unions, and labor laws*
Leftist: Fuck you imperialist!
More or less that is the general picture. But yeah, he is not in any way, shape or form a revolutionary.

Even though Ron Paul is a right-winger, some of his ideas do have merit to them and I would rather have him than any of the other blokes including Barack Obama in the white house. Atleast Ron Paul does not work for the special interests and is against the neocons and their imperialistic agendas. That I can have respect for.
And thanks for the warm welcomes :)
Actually, despite his seemingly principled stand on some issues Paul is and remains an enemy of the left and as owned by the capitalist class as the rest of them. The clue should be in the fact that he is a Republican political representative. Nevertheless, welcome. I did not realize you were chinese. You might find the chinaworker link in my signature usefull. It is the website of the chinese and hong kong affiliates of the organization I am in, the CWI.

The way I see it is that Ron Paul's Republican Party representation is a façade, he is more of a Constitutionalists and a Libertarian in the American sense. That said, his infiltration of the Republican Party was meant to have greater access to large media outlets in order to help spread his ideas further. However in any case, yes your right, ultimately he is an enemy of the left. But in terms of what we got, he's the best that America has to offer.
Nevertheless, welcome. I did not realize you were chinese. You might find the chinaworker link in my signature usefull. It is the website of the chinese and hong kong affiliates of the organization I am in, the CWI.
Yes, thanks for the link. I will check from time to time to see if there is any interesting things said there. With that being said, I notice there aren't many members here that are from China... in that sense, I hope my expertise in Chinese history and culture can prove useful in this site. Looking forward to my time spent here.
