While I agree with the argument that the conflation between Israel and Nazi Germany is wildly inappropriate and overly simplistic, there is a clear rise of fascist-style politics within the current ruling coalition in Israel of which this is a really strong example. There is no Israeli equivalent of the holocaust or the Nazi party of course, but the parallels between this activity and the kind of thing which went on in 30s-era Germany is pertinent. I don't think the two regimes should be equated and Israel lacks the ability to project state power in the same mode as Germany so the outcome will be different, but the way the politics of ethnic homogeneity plays out in Israel is regressing and getting worse the way it did in Germany.

You have politicians from the ruling party calling minorities a "cancer" and "infiltrators" which need to be forcefully expunged from society to ensure the homogeneity of a superior ethnic class, which leads to an active persecution of Black Sudanese by violent protesters. The development of legitimated and institutionalized racism from a supposedly liberal government is always going to have parallels to Nazi Germany, because it was the most extreme example of what happens when such a process goes on unopposed.

I didn't know all the information you just posted- I'm wholly ignorant about Israel reality- and I concede my point, maybe I'm wrong.
But reports I read talked that protests against the sudanese (with car's windows smashing, etc) started after a case of theft.
And I don't see what Israel military force have to do with immigration, it's a small country surrounded by hostility, not unjustifiable hostility of course, but nevertheless a country that needs to regulate immigration tightly.

While Israel has an open immigration policy for most/all Jewish people...

Israel has had anxiety over non-Jews within Palestine (as in, the region; including where Israel and the Palestinian territories are) since they're worried that non-Jews will be the majority (something problematic for a state that explicitly labels itself the "Jewish state"). Israelis policy makers, etc that are worried about this have kinda, half-heatedly flouted the idea of the two-state solution (in the media) thus separating themselves from the Palestinian population, but so far the seemingly "preferred" method, which is what's put into action, is to terrorize the Palestinians 'till they all leave or die.

Same story, different country. If it's not Israel, it's the UK, or the US. There is no escaping the inevitable right wing belief that the average public holds, that whenever there is crime and desperation, it's usually the immigrants. It gets tiresome and repetitive.

The only downside to the Israeli situation is that the government literally endorses the sentiments of the racist public! At least in the UK and the US there is a political sentiment to not be openly anti-immigrant.
