A binbag underneath my clothes, to increase sweat. Have any of you done this before? Is it effective? I may give it a try tomorrow.

ha ha ha ha ha ha that is funny....
did you hear about the woman who put a frozen turkey under her hat so she could avoid paying for it... but then collapsed and died as she tried to leave the shop....Brain freeze killed her.... I presume.
Anyway..... so be careful ... these wacky races.... might be dodgy....

I'm no runner or jogger.
But one suggestion I have for keep-fit, and building up strenght and stamina is this: put some weights in a ruck sack, and go running with that on your back.
I know peeps who do it. It's hard, especially initially. But it will build you up, fella :)

Don't do it often. It isn't healthy to do it for long periods of time. I do it only when I really need to cut the last kilo or two of water weight before a weigh-in.
All in all it isn't healthy for your skin, and drains you of energy by causing dehydration. It is really risky since you don't realize just how much you are sweating until you take it off.

the cheaper alternative to a weights vest. As for the OP, done it before when Ive been out running the morning after a heavy session to try and sweat the beer out
