The story doesn't go into details, unfortunately. The court's ruling was for that of a U.S citizen so who knows if such rulings will be extended to ordinary Colombians. It is progress to be sure but it just seems dubious especially in a place like Colombia.

'Sorta legal' is progress I suppose. But actually legal is better.

Civil marriage for gays is law in Colombia, full marriage is on its way to be legalized too.
