aaaaaaaaaand this, kiddies, is why we must ALWAYS make sure we're fully coherent and not making sleep-deprivation-fueled rants before hitting the "post" button.
mods, i'd be totally down with this thread being trashed.

Let's unleash the full productive forces of the working class and improve the lives of everyone by blowing it all to hell!

This bloke just saw the movie xXx with Vin Diesel. It's about an Eastern European terrorist group called "Anarchy 99" that wants to use a nuclear bomb to blow up Prague so all governments collapse by blaming each other.

Well, we would be actively denying our proletarian condition. Which is what I got from this quasi-insurrectionist OP but I think blowing it all up is quite a stupid way to break the value relation. It's like saying death is the eternal resolution of dialectical contradiction. It's true but it won't help anyone.

Not a bad idea, but a very stupid idea to post this on the internet.

Oh, I was thinking 'Paint It Black' by the Rolling Stones actually, but then I'm old school.
Not really sure how blowing up cities and releasing radioactive death-clouds is going to help in the rational organisation of production to fulfill human needs but what the hell.
There's something nagging at the back of my mind here...
Oh yeah: this is the stupidest fucking idea that anyone has ever expressed ever.

I am generally opposed to any use of atomic weapons though this thread does raise a question for me. If during the course of world revolution the capitalist States were certain of their defeat do you think that they would launch nuclear attacks against socialist forces?

Yes.
At least, I think it's possible that they would, I'm pretty convinced that some of them would rather destroy everything than give up power. In the end, the threat against the working class (which when all the propaganda is stripped away is what guarantees we don't rise up and tear them to pieces with our bare hands) is that the bourgeoisie can destroy all human life on earth.
This is why we can't defeat the bourgeoisie militarily. They will always have the advantage in that regard, as they already have no problems about causing mega-deaths to prop up their decayed system. Because we're fighting not just to make the world ours (which we are, to be sure) but also to make it better we don't have the fall-back of 'well if we can't have it no-one will'.
And this is why we can't use terrorism and mass destructioon to fulfill our aims; we need to unite as the working class, because only the organised working class has the power to paralyse capitalism and the state. Only working-class organisation can stop this possible apocalypse happening.
Yes, let's blow everything up.
Seems legit.

I'm not so sure, we had this guy a while back who said we should block the sun with some giant sun-blocker in space. This was apparently the most effective way to crush the bourgeoisie. The idea presented in the OP is at least somewhat realistic, I'll give him that.

states know that fear and coercion are the only reason they maintain power. the ultimate fear of the last century has been that of a nuclear attack, hence why the state puts up every possible barrier in the way of anyone else who wants to acquire this power, even though they do so through hipocrisy. simply put, if we are to instill in them the fear they wish upon us, WE need the tools to fight back, and they need to know it. we need a nuclear weapon, and we must use it somewhere that they will have no choice but to take notice, and then let them know that that was just one of many, and the rest are hidden so deeply within our numbers that by the time their dogs are barking, our timers will be ticking.
You forgot the 'BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA' at the end, Mini-Me.

:crying:
You're right.
Destroying cities, killing untold millions and poisoning the planet is only the second stupidest idea in the history of anything ever.
The fact that there has ever been an idea which is even stupider is actually rather depressing.

Are you a comic book supervillain? I'm pretty sure I've heard of this before. The real problem is the Batman.

You know now that you mention it. This does kind of sound something Ra's Al Ghul would think up, then immediately reject it because even he isn't that crazy.
