Some news from the art world:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/art/art-news/9274597/Empty-plinth-and-blank-piece-of-paper-to-feature-in-exhibition-of-invisible-art.html

An empty plinth and a blank canvas, are to feature in an exhibition in the UK. It will include works and documents by the French artits Klein, who pioneered invisible works in the late 1950s, with his notion of 'architecture of air'.

Contributions from Yoko Ono and Andy Warhol will also be exhibited.

And a new book pertaining to the artist Banksy is available:

Apparently, yeah.

There is gonna be a plinth with nothing on it, by Andy warhol. Apparently, he once stood on it once. And another picture will have been painted with invisible paint/ink.

This form of art has been around since the 1950s, according to the article. I had never actually come across it before, and it's a form of conceptual art that has got me intrigued :) :star:

Honestly, I am a pretty broad-minded guy and I can appreciate a lot of art that others call nonsense....
But there's nothing there...literally nothing. Calling it 'invisible' paint doesn't make it any more than just...nothing. And if that in itself is an artistic statement then..

..:)

It's a bit different, granted lol.

I think I would rather read the book about Banksy, then go see this exhibition tbh. If it was on the doorstep, I might go and check it out. But fuck travelling to London to see it :) :star:

So... could I stand there naked in order to show off the tattoos that I don't have? Could I get paid for it?
