Watching it right now. Has anyone seen this movie? It's about the French anarchist.

So far, it's pretty good. Has a touch of humor with its class conscious.

Wasn't she the model for the protagonist in Isak Dinesen's story "Babette's Feast"?

Just the same Louise's story is profoundly moving. I read first read about her in The People, the SLP's publication.

The protagonist in "Babbette's Feast" was the widow of a Communard, so that couldn't be Louise Michel.

Sorry, I was wrong. The name of the film is a play on the anarchist. The two main characters are named Louise and the other Michel. Still, it's an alright comedy, maybe some will like it more than me. It's about an eccentric factory worker who brings up hiring someone to kill their boss during a union meeting. She hires a man (with a twist) to do the job, but he's too afraid to do it and tries hiring other people with failed attempts.
