Don't mock him for this. Even though it's probably not best to put this online, he suffered something terrible, and he wants to do something about it. I can only imagine what a terrible feeling it must be to have that happen to a child.:(

If you're friendly with the local pigs you can ask them to run the plate. Of course, most people on here wouldn't be comfortable doing that, and you'd have to sweet talk the address out of them. If you don't want to ask the cops then use your favorite search engine.

What happened?

my family and i got on the interstate in front of another car full of teenagers, who obviously didn't like it, so they sped up, got in front of us and then slammed on the brakes, almost causing us to rear-end them, then got back behind us and rode our ass with their brights on, which pretty much glare-blinded us, then did the cycle all over again for about five or six miles, then sped past us and tossed their bottles at our windshield. luckily we never lost control or hit anything, but for the whole six miles we were in constant danger of it, all with a clearly visible "baby on board" sign in the back window. now you know why i want to put some fear into those kids.

Civilians cant run plates. Sorry.

I suggest you dont pursue it. I understand that you are upset but it is best you let it slide for now. You may run into them again and then is when you make your decision. I know it is hard but you gotta wait it out. When you see them, you see them. Whatever happens, happens.
