PSL L.A. sex trolling, thuggery and organizational malaise

I will link some old articles at the end of this but please note that the dates are irrelevant as the players remain the same. I have stated and defended the PSL on numerous occasions for their ability to organize and contribute to events put on by others. My attitude has always been, since I chose not to become a "member", to defend them as an important part of the American left. That we as leftist have bigger fish to fry. Yet as more and more ex-members and candidates refuse to keep towing the Party line certain patterns keep surfacing. Allegations of "hitting" on the new younger female members by alleged party thugs "Marcial" and "Carlos", implied thuggery by again "Marcial", intimidation from branch leader and trust-fund baby "Ian". And lastly a culture of type A personalities of ex-military vets at the top. Recently threats have been made against the membership to increase contributions or lose the office that is in "Ian's" name. With no accounting to show where funds go the membership has a legitimate concern as to the why's and where's of the membership dues.
Yet this is only one issue in regards to an entrenched leadership becoming more cult-like day by day. As one veteran put it "we used to make fun of Bob Avakian and the RCP. Now we have become them." Democratic Centralism has been all but abandoned there. And only lip service given to open debate. Simply, this is not Socialism.

Then you are either not in the LA branch or refuse to see what happens after the Friday meetings. You want names, dates and people in the leadership to ask in LA? PM me. Dont be afraid of the truth, that shit will destroy you as an activist.

I have to ask, since when is the level of perceived "silliness" a barometer for truth? These accusations are in fact silly and silliness has no place in a revolutionary party, correct? So why are accusations from 2009-10 still relevant today? Because they are true. I have dealt with these "pretenders" and out of some misguided sense of "not airing dirty laundry" kept my mouth shut. But as people come and go and see me at certain events the conversation keeps coming up. That miscreant Pedro or Marcial does liken himself a thug. Only this thug is soft as a suckling pig as is his understanding of Marx. A PLP flunky who ran to the PSL before the progressive Labor Party boat sank. He has creeped on young girls then and does it now. He often holds a Hip-Hop night at the PSL office where you can find him passing out free drinks, but only to comrades 19-22 years old. Ian, the trust fund baby ,whom you will find after just a brief discussion, cares nothing about the issues, party building or even the working class. That talk will be of loyalty to the branch(not the PSL). Poor Mike P. a very torn vet wanting to do the right thing but always ends up in a corner with yet a shorter female version of himself. Its not a good thing to be either female, thinker or have self respect with these people.

From everything that Marcial/Pedro has told me, yes. I always assumed that NYC and DC had offices of their own but was told otherwise.

NYC has an office, but I assume that its pretty small compared to LA.

But the rest of the cast, Ian, Marcial/Pedro, Mike and the rest of the fraternity responsible for the ongoing sexual harassment and activist derailment are still running this tiny sectarian show. At the recent national meeting in LA they even went so far as to jockey for closer seating to Becker and Ian. Fucking embarrassing.
