Paul Reekie was a poet, who left his benefit withdrawal notification letter, as a 'suicide note'. He took his own life after participating in the Work Capability Assessment (WCA).

The bosses are scum, who have a lot to answer - and pay - for :star:

They are turning a social-democratic state into capitalist.

The UK always was capitalist. Social democracy is merely a way of administering the capitalist state, reforms were granted under pressure from below at a time when this always coincided with the interests of parts of the ruling class. This period ended decades ago. We are seeing a rapid acceleration of neo-liberalism.

Well neo-liberalism is still trying to climb out of its crisis so we may be at a crossroads right now.

These cuts are part of the austerity drive that is nothing except the ruling classes attempt to resurrect neo-liberalism. We need to put our shoulders to the wheel and oppose these austerity cuts whenever and wherever they take place.
