Help finding someone.

I have an acquaintance who I fell out of contact with, would like to contact the person again about something. I know the individual's first name (which isn't a very common name, but not totally bizarre either) and their country of residence (Australia). I *think* I even remember the city they live in. I think the person has a Facebook page, too, but using Facebook's search tool is very frusterating for some reason. Is there any way to simply search for a first name and a country on Facebook, without having to specify a specific region of said country?

I don't think facebook has this feature. In any case, pipl.com is generally reliable in finding people's online accounts, social networking profiles, etc.
