Are there any 'high profile' or interesting ones to watch?

I could give you one between a PARECON supporter and a market socialist. Is that close enough? I could also give you a few Russia Today panels on which a libertarian attacks some MLs, but they aren't really debates, more undisciplined arguments full of fallacies. I'm sorry I couldn't help more, but if I think of any I'll let you know.

This is actually a good idea. Learn some Marxist tactics to use on Capitalists during debate. So it would be good if someone could find a link or video that would be awesome

Libertarian vs authoritarian is much more fun.

No it is not, it is absolutely stupid and completely meaningless, since any revolution will be authoritarian in nature.
Please stay on topic, if you want to discuss something so banal, then you are welcome to start a thread on the matter, don't try to hijack this one.

Are you only looking for videos or do texts also suffice?

If so, libcom has a very readable debate with Parecon going.

I found a 'debate' with Alex Callinicos of SWP vs Martin Wolf (chief economics commentator for the financial time i.e. Capitalist scum). There's 4 parts to it, click 'show more' to see them.

It's also completely meaningless because it will be libertarian in nature, or not a revolution at all. The libertarian/authoritarian is a false dichotomy.

That's all. Carry on.

Maybe this is an example of what the OP is looking for?:

Also there was a debate between Paul M. Sweezy and Joseph Schumpeter in the late 1940s which was certainly significant

Here's a MR article about the debate that appeared last year: Insights from the Sweezy-Schumpeter Debate (http://monthlyreview.org/2011/05/01/on-the-laws-of-capitalism)

a debate between a parecon supporter and a market socialist is a bit silly, since parecon is essentially a form of market socialism. as railyon suggests, there is a long-running communist vs. parecon debate over on libcom - the jist being that parecon is essentially a form of capitalism anyway.

It has a planned economy.

It has a planned economy.
So does capitalism in a sense.
