While I have no idea whether or not the original poster is racist, he has definitely not provided enough context for you to say that he is. For all anyone here knows, he might be asking the question because he wants to argue against the people having the bake sale. I mean Jesus, at least let the guy explain what the fuck he is even talking about before you start shouting RACIST and calling for his ban.

Most of the responses in this thread have been asking him to clarify because it is impossible to tell where he is actually coming from on the basis of his question alone. So no, I don't think anybody knows anything, and I wish people on this website were not so self-righteous and obsessed with calling everyone a bigot right out of the gate.

How does being against affirmative action equate to racism? I find quotas offensive in and of themselves and I don't think it addresses any of the underlining issues that it's attempting to solve or help.

An affirmative action bake sale is basically a real life troll. So he comes here to tell us he's about to real life troll people, and asks to prove it's racist. Conclusion?

So here's why you're racist OP; because you think affirmative action is about giving minorities "free stuff." In reality it's just making a de jure situation for whites a de facto situation for minorities; ie, access to the means to better your life. There is really only one way to oppose affirmative action; by not recognizing that structural racism is a real thing, ie "white privilege."

I was on my couch about to all asleep (I thought. Insomnia sucks) and my cat was the way of typing. I didn't want to disturb her. Plus I've been debating with fundies all night, and there ignorance had me short tempered.

Besides, it's not like AA isn't a bourgeois social reform. Righties just bring it up for all the wrong reasons.
