First sentence in the page:

The Fabian Society is a British socialist movement, whose purpose is to advance the principles of democratic socialism via gradualist and reformist, rather than revolutionary, means

So... nope.

All I read:

The Fabian Society is a British socialist movement, whose purpose is to advance the principles of democratic socialism via gradualist and reformist, rather than revolutionary, means.

Your answer: hell no.

To be fair, those aren't really antithetical to Marxism, which many would consider a social science, or a means of analyzing capitalist social relations and human history.

On the other hand, it contains a considerable amount of Utopian elements, so this very fact would make it antithetical to any form of Marxism.

To be fair, those aren't really antithetical to Marxism ...

Marxism predicts the organized, revolutionary overthrow of bourgeois political power as the catalyst of socialist transformation. Because of this, that makes reform and gradualism quite antithetical to Marxism.

I'm not at all impressed with the Fabian Society.

When I was a student at uni, one of its members tried to recruit me, and we had a coffee and a chat in the student union cafe.

The guy bragged on about how he had been in London, working with Roy Hattersley (the then Deputy Leader of Labour Party) over the summer holidays.

He went onto become a big supporter and close ally of Tony Blair, and had to resign over a scandal.

The Fabians are social-democratic, and as such, represent a sort of politic that straddle the abyssal rift between fascism and socialism; as evidenced by the Fabians embrace at various times - like many social-democratic movements - of things such as eugenics, social-Darwinism, racism, not to mention that air of elitist circle-jerk they radiate like a thousand suns.

Since Fabian Socialism is not based on Marxism. Where do Fabian Socialists get their Socialist ideas from ? Do Fabian Socialists agree with Karl Marx on anything ? Do Fabian Socialists disagree with Marxism's views on Religion I ask because I notice there are Christian Fabian Socialists. Is Fabian Socialism Reformist are they trying to Reform Marxism ? Since many people think Karl Marx founded Socialism how can Fabian Socialists be Socialists if they are not Marxists thank you ? Also do Fabian Socialists call themselves Democratic Socialists ? How could the Labour Party of the UK calls themselves Socialists if they are not Marxists also the Socialist Party USA and the Democratic Socialists of America seem not to be based on Marxism ?

Fabian Socialists got their ideas from Christian and Utopian Socialists, as well as thinkers like John Stuart Mill and in their early organization, from Marx and Engels. You can be Religious and Marxist and likewise religious and Fabian. They aren't trying to reform Marxism, they want to reform Capitalism. Marx didn't found Socialism, him and Engels founded Scientific Socialism aganist Utopian Socialism.

The Fabian project is for clever people to tell the rest of us what to do. For our own good. They're essentially late-Victorian paternalists getting enthustiastic about technocracy, 1920s-style.

By the way, they really liked Stalin. Thought he was someoine they could do business with. They didn't like Lenin much.

The present day Fabian Society? Dude, ask me if the Labour party is marxist.
