vote fixing in russia

In the current elections in Russia, there have already been allegations of vote fixing from both the democratic and communist parties. The current government is going to come back in with 2 as many votes as there closes competitor.

What do you think about the situation vote fixing or not?

I wouldn't put it past anyone over there to fix the vote, the country is very much still in sort of a poltical limbo. Putin did not win that election.

The election was obviously rigged in favor of Putin by Yeltsin - Putin was by far Yeltsin's favorite.

only way to have balance again is too let the people have a desent vote.. something that seemingly unfortunatly didnt happen...

Only a fifth or so of the votes have been counted but at present United Russia Party has about 34% and KPRF (Communist Party Russian Federation) has about 13%. United Russia is first, KPRF is second.

The Kremlin gave orders to state officials to make sure United Russia got the highest number of votes. United Russia is backed by Putin and the Kremlin and has received masses of funds and all the pre-election publicity. Who knows what other corruption is taking place.

It was Duma elections not presidentual election.

Remember that the voting rate wasnt very high.Those who didnt vote probably knew that elections was going to be rigged.
