A right wing student group? Are they gonna protest for tuition raises?

students haven't always been associated with the left - students were used as scabs in early 20th c britain i believe
there isn't really a student movement similar to what there was around 50 years ago, which was obviously left-wing, so I'm not really sure what you're talking about. students are still averagely pretty left-wing and most universities have strong socialist presence. though, the main right-wing party has a very strong student wing too, and at one point the true finn party was even polled to be the most popular party among students, so of course right-wing student movements aren't really a far stretch.
so yeah really i'd appreciate if you could be a bit more specific here
also sailors of kronstadt: nah, not even the more rightist students here are too keen about introducing tuition fees, basically demolishing the basis for the finnish welfare isn't a popular idea for some reason. once in a while some business fuck brings up the idea and pretty much everybody just shoots them down.

Last year, 15 % of Finnish students supported the nationalist-racist True Finns party. It was the most popular party among students and probably still is. National Coalition Party (the largest right wing party) got about 11 % support and so did the liberal Green League.
It should be noted that 47 % didn't know who to vote. But still, it doesn't look good. Here's the source in Finnish: http://yle.fi/uutiset/perussuomalaiset_opiskelijoiden_suosikki/2874698

Yep. That's true.
In the early part of the twentieth century, higher education in Britain was very elitist. Mostly they came from capital, or the much better-off and privileged working-class backgrounds.
When industrial action was taken, student toffs would actually take over the running of buses, for example, in an effort to keep public transport functioning.
So yeah, they were used as scabs.
