I offer the courtesy of an introduction to my comrades and fellow leftists. My city of residence was home to a rather weak iteration of the Occupy Movement, one that does not seem to have survived as an illegal occupation. Leftist and progressive sympathies are popular among politically conscious students and poorer workers, many of whom are Black. Anti-revisionism is not as popular as left-communist tendencies and "New Leftism," and networking and organization is difficult. I am an anti-revisionist. In the context of the International Communist Movement, anti-revisionism refers to the awareness of deviation from Marxist-Leninist theory, which was implemented successfully by Lenin, Stalin, and Hoxha in the staging of socialist revolution, the seizure of political power for the proletariat, and the construction of the socialist mode of production. Socialist or not, Marxism-Leninism demands solidarity with the anti-imperialist efforts of bourgeois people's democracies like China, Cuba, and Korea. I became a leftist in my exploration of materialism. Marx's and Engel's dialectical materialism is the most effective basis for observing the world in its revolutionary development.
