and the regime that's uppressing Cuba today has nothing to do with Marx, Lenin and Trotski.

To start a socialistic revolution we need to get rid of racism, gay hatred and sexism! Solidarity is the key.
Che is only but a symbol to me, a symbol that you feel the need to change the world, but his life didn't told us how.

well in that book they clain Stalin to be a communist, and he was responisble for 20 million of the deaths, heck every form of government is responible in one way or another in killing alot of people. Not everything is so Black and White.

If the child was trying to kill you. Or was spying and had information that would jepordize your position and cause your soldiers to be killed. In either of those cases, killing the child would be justified. It wouldn't be a good thing but it would be the best course of action.

Whether it is true or not, I'm quite upset that anyone would try to justify the assasination of a child. A childs views aren't their own, they're usually just repeating something they've heard. So is it fair to take away their lives for something they do not completely understand? It's insulting to hear an excuse for it. "He probably deserved it" What the fuck? That is exactly the attitude we should be arguing against, that Che, an atheist, is now our god, we dare not question him and trust him to be the giver and taker of life.
The leftist movement has to take a good hard look at itself. It is full of champagne socialists who take the moral high ground and talk amongst their white, middle-class, university educated friends about how socially aware they are, when I cannot see any of you sitting at your computers, actually able to creat a conversation with someone from the working class. Spending 2 weeks in Mexico doesn't make you a latino nor does it enable you to understand the problems of the developing world. We're on the right track, but we need to be aware of how hypocritical the contemporary left is.

I agree with you, everything is fair in war but the ignorance of bullets on everything but victory doesn't justify the killing of a child. And there would never be reason enough to kill a child. Anyhow, whether it is true that Che shot a child or not, this doesn't change the fact that "he was the only man with big enough balls and a big enough brain to realize the truth and say FUCK YOU ! " Remember, although we look up to Che as a demigod, he is still human like us who commit mistakes, humans who are not perfect.
