zippy comrade, my apologise, but im relatively new to this forum so i dont know how old each person is and where they live.
im gonna start a movement age 16-25 militant group
radical youth for change
its gonna be wicked
im gonna start it as soon as i know there are no other groups like it.if there are i will join them. i am so pissed off with seeing little crappy lefty groups when we should have a few massive ones with loads of weight behind them. stop diluting the left.

i think there are a few youth movements... but they tend to be affiliates of such things as the Fabian Society...
you should try searching the net for left wing youth...
as for me, i intend to do my fighting on other shores, the fight for these ones are going to be far too difficult unless the economic situation gets MUCH worse...
who knows if it will? either way, give me 5 years. Unless ofcourse, you manage to set up an institution which has an effective network and requires very little thought on my part, but instead provides for me events for me to participate in, in which case i'd jump at the oppurtunity to join...

the fabian society is the think tank of labour is it not. i intend to work there while im in university.
commieB ive searched the net and theres summit called ypsl which is socialist youth, but as far as i can see its from america only, i would quite happily open a north of england branch for ypsl.
ive sent them an email notifying this.

Hi Comrades,
I am 16 in febuary but would be very interested in Joining your movement. I have already been involved for some time in the Cuba Solidarity Campaign and Youth action for palestine (a group made up young people, mainly at secondary school or students www.geocities.com/youthactionforpalestine)
Anyway as I said, joining yor movement would be great.
Secondly, as you live somewhere in Cheshire I you might want to be in contact a friend of mine called Flinn, I used to go to school with him here in London and consequently when he left to live in chester he left as a revolutionary socialist :-). Anyway he has been very depressed being the only radical in Chester (The city tony blair went up to so he could say ttheir was no north south wealth divide) as he is the only radical.
Just a thought.
Good Luck Comrade,
Yours in Struggle,
Reuben

im slightly lost
although i believe that there shouldnt be too many leftist groups to dilute each others effectiveness, i am tempted to start this movement, as already in one day there have been 5 people wanting to join such a movement.
any more comments or opinions?
i will complete the radical youth for change movement website by next weekend as i have a big gcse exam this tuesday so i will have to revise the damned shite.

I'd rather not get involved in terrorism but it sounds like a good idea to spread the message.
There is actually a communist group at our school but i don't know where it meets. I'll have to talk to the guy who organizes it.

action is not terrorism, moskitto, dont put a slur on the cause, its as though its not bad enough with media turning us into evil terrorists, our own comrades do too.

The reason why I haven't joined the communist group yet is complicated. But basically I don't know where it meets.
I haven't seen the organizer very often but I know he's the kind of person you want to walk past you if someone's denying all the atrocities taking place in Africa.
Then there's Miles (who I will give the address of this site to) who is a bit different to me (I think we should persuade people that our way is the best, but he says that we should do that but kill everyone who disagrees.)
That's the problem with me, I'm the type of character that gets assasinated eg. Ghandi, Rhabin.
And i'll give them you're address.
P.S. everyone, get "Trillion" from download.cnet.com because that lets you use Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and AOL IMs with 1 program.

As i said on my first post in this forum, i am not here to take action. I am here to educate myself and find myself on the political map.
I dont know if i am a communist, it doesnt sound very appealing realy. ;)
So as for my help in an action group, it would be pointless.

Actually I think I'll make mega-bucks and bring down capitalism by raising the prices of raw materials and causing hyper inflation.

The thing is, the leftist movement would be greatly helped by having secret sympathisers in big business...
unfortunately there are 2 problemos with this, the kind of people who go into big business dont tend to be leftists, secondly, leftists who go in with that intent are more than likely to be tainted...

i believe that we (middle class) are the generation for the revolution, the workering class will follow suit as the middle class who have money and hence influence, change to the left, so will they.

hmm, yes, but as Gramsci said, the revolution will flounder if there is just a bourgois vanguard, it requires the incorporation of the working classes into the struggle not just as followers, but as leaders too.
