only 38 days to go until the beginning of the 30 days of action at Faslane Peace Camp ! Get in touch via [email protected] or come to site to find out more about how you can get involved.
We will be taking action every day from the 9th of june to the 9th of july, at the base, glasgow and edinburgh and more to celebrate the 30th anniversary of nuclear resistance in the uk. We have plenty of sleeping space and need all the support you can muster! groups from accross the uk and eu will be coming to take a day, and anyone else is welcome to come along and take part in a multitude of events ranging from big blockades and mischievous meddling, to fluffy non-arrestable marches and noise demos etc.
The site phone number is 01436 820 901 (though this has been a bit dodgy as of late and might not work...) and we are located on the A816 road out of Helensburgh, which is accessible via trains from edinburgh and glasgow queen street, or a bus from glasgow city center. Then the 316 bus from helensburgh will take you directly to the peace camp! We have an alcohol agreement in place and communal vegan meals are cooked daily, to which donations can be made in the form of coins and paper from the bank or a skip run ;)
