It seems like the whole hand-feeding and bed-sharing thing didn't have anything to do with this case, the husband says his wife is suffering from serious psychological problems, but I'm not sure what that means. Still, send the children back to India? The government could have easily found Norwegians to adopt the children(I've seen many ethnic Norwegians who adopted foreign children, of all ages, in Oslo), the child would have a much more comfortable life in Norway and it would have been a more humane thing to do.
