View Full Version : Hours of riots in Eskilstuna when nazi-demo got stopped!
About 100-150 nazis tried to have a demonstration today in the town of Eskilstuna in Sweden, it did not go to well for them. At least 8 to hospital and 2 seriously injured. Many with minor injuries.
It started peacefully but the nazis path got blocked by 1000+ antifascists so they started throwing bottles and after that the riots continued for several hours and the police had to evacute the nazis to the train station. After hand to hand fighting broke out on the train tracks with police all trains to Eskilstuna was stopped for the whole day.
The start of the riots:

Thanks for the report, comrade.
More bad news for the nazi scum, as they attempt to mount yet another pathetic display.

Isn't it funny that at every nazi demo there is more police to defend the nazis than actual nazis.

Shame the sense can't be knocked into them / the ignorance smacked out of them...still, always good to see a nazi get slapped about

footage clearly shows police ignoring nazis trhowing bottles etc and clearly noticing they are preparing it, quite a good bit of footage that is. It is very rarely pigs give 100 % proof as this time where are their sympathies. It could be easily used for propaganda purposes, but I am sure Swedish comrades already thought about that.

The liberal media is already today blaming the antifascists for all violence. As has been the case for the last 11 years since the Gothenburg riots, nazis can do what they want and they know it. But we dont care about liberal media anymore.
Antifascism is a means for an end. There was pratically only people from Eskilstuna demonstrating, everyone else that usually would go was participating in the many anarchosyndicalist marches, about 10 000 people in them yesterday!

I didn't mean appealing to liberal media to write something positive, I meant you know, messing things up for the pigs perhaps with some sort of official complaints etc. Some people in UK do a pretty good job of annoying cops constantly with complaints, most of the time it doesn't work, sometimes it however does. Anyway... so are the fascists hurt as well? Because on that footage nothing seems to be happening to them apart from few bottles thrown. Or did they get the shit kicked out of them some time later?:)
Really enjoyed that day, I loved to see that there werent lots of people who had travelled there for the demo, but that it was mostly "regular" people from Eskilstuna participating in the counterdemo.
Thing is, at the start of their demo the nazis appeared at a place where we nor the cops expected them to be, at first the cops blocked us coming there from a street but after taking a shortcut through a mall and some back alleys we ended up quite close. For maybe 4-5 minutes we were standing really close to the nazis. (see picture)
And then nazis started throwing bottles (that the cops for some reason let them bring...), which is what you can see in the video that someone linked. The police counterattacks were synced with the bottlethrowing <.<
Afterwards they retreated across the bridge, and couldnt do their march thing so they went on the other side of the river to the place where they were supposed to be.
I dont have the time to write down the rest of the story right now, but yeah, that was the first encounter.
