Tomorrow and every day after is ours to claim! Happy May Day 2012! How are you best serving the cause for a workers revolution today? I, myself will be in the streets marching for immigration justice. Please check in throughout the day and your comrades a heads up. Lets get it on!!

Happy may day guys.
It's my nan's birthday today, and instead of doing a birthday card for her I made a may day card for her instead.
Didn't do anything to contribute the revolution though... sorry :(

Have no transportation so I can't do much. Just told my mum about it some and posted on another forum I am active on a article I wrote about May Day. Not much, I doubt any of it will be noticed.

Well... you actually wrote an article.
I posted some communist-y music on my Tumblr. That's it.
And, I'm walking into English class a half hour late without the draft I was supposed to have completed because fuck it, but I don't think that counts.

I was listening to local radio and the guy who reads community announcements got to the part where he says what day it is, and he said, "today's May first, May Day, a day of protest...worker's unite!" *chuckle* Then moved on to other news.
He said it kind of humorously but I still found it funny.

Christ!!! Today was awesome!!! The only bad part of it was that there were three separate marches because egos always trumps unity on the left. I was with a dear comrade and we got to spend a day together getting lost in the mass of people. Felt like a warm shower after a day of work. Thank you all for posting today. Today is more than being in a march. Its about class and who has it and who doesn't. Y'all are the classiest!

I didn't go out and show physical support but I posted information about Communism on a lot of YouTube videos and told my co-workers about inequality and oppression. If I got one person to even look up information about Communism, I did my job in my eyes.

Couldn't go on the immigrant rights march today because I work nights and it was at 3pm which is a little like trying to go on a 4am march for most day-schedule people. I did go down to Oscar Grant Plaza at 5pm though - I worried about a low turn-out and this was on the healthier side of my guesses - bigger than the building takeover attempt, probably not quite as big as the 2nd port shut-down.
People were in good spirits and I was able to catch up with folks and have good conversations with other people I don't know. I came there with my partner and my roommate and they were asking what time I wanted to leave and I said, let's leave 10 minutes before sundown so we can get out before the cops attack. Like clockwork, as we left and the sun set, we turned around a corner where dozens of unmarked white vans (paddy wagons) were stationed and they all revved their engines and took off madly... a few seconds later a huge convoy of dozens of cop cars from other cities sped by with their lights flashing. Then we heard protesters yelling in the background and a flash-bang go off.
