A new article from the Philippine section of the International Communist Current:

"Workers of the world, unite!" This is the truth and reality under a capitalist system. We, the workers have no national interest, or nationality to side with and defend as an internationalist class. Where ever and part of the world we may be, we are exploited and oppressed by the capital and the local state.

Patriotism and national interest serve only one particular class. History taught us that sovereignty, patriotism, and the state serve only the interest of the bourgeoisie, to control and exploit the working class and the rest of the toiling masses.

The current standoff at the Spratly islands between the Filipino and the Chinese bourgeoisie (both of which are claiming to own the small resource rich island) cries for "national sovereignty" and "territorial integrity". Calls for "national unity" and "defend national territory" reverberated. The bourgeoisie media is now poisoning the minds of the toiling masses, inculcating them that as one race and nation, capitalists and workers are brothers and allies.

The bourgeoisie has been injecting the workers of both countries "love for the motherland” to divide the workers, fight and kill each other.

Objectively speaking, those islands are indeed first discovered by Chinese. Is also China's first fishing here.
In the 1980s, Deng Xiaoping's revisionist clique pursues surrender route, Southeast Asian countries began to be invaded and occupied the Chinese island.

Great theory ! What in the meantime do you suggest. Ripping the very trees and spiriting them away. Some to Kyoto even? Stealing land at gunpoint. Producing eco fuel instead of food, obscenity. A government totally in thrall to US and other players. Well I tell you what I have seen. I don't ask and they don't tell me who's who. In the real world survival demands resistance to oppression. 66 high powered rifles various bits and pieces from a security firm guarding foreign owned mines. 4 guards offered no resistance, treated better than by the military.who convinced themselves it was an inside job. Such is their growing fear, that the partizans can hit anywhere anytime. Not true of course, they select targets with total care. Protection of their own numbers as well as safety of people. I have only come across them a few times, very smartly turned out ,respectfully, purposeful, share a joke or two. Wifey says they laugh because they can't understand my English, my Bisayan acccent too brings on the tears. The peasant kids and town boys students, grads who make up their numbers show no hostility. They seem to know who their friends are, most decidedly who their enemies are. We sometimes learn those lessons the hard way, unfortunately.

Oh somebody just told me army unit who's previous commander had raped two minors was attacked. Well.... we cant have that sort of thing going on. We got rid of the eatery after I lost my temper after an incident, one of many, that set me off. Rude to the girls , tripping the boys or dropping the money payment on the floor. I told him to leave the money their for the next beggar that rewarded us with their company. My wifey wouldn't let me sleep at the house for a few days ! Said I was a dammed fool !! We must not forget Filipino PRIDE!!!!! But whose?
