How many of you can afford to buy the service which you render?

Example: the person who works in a factory making parts of a car engine. Can he afford to buy the car helps to make?

I work in the medical industry. Can I afford to buy the service I render? No, I cannot.

What about you?

Nope, I'm a Civil Engineer and I can't buy a bridge, road, school, or a sporting arena.

I think I provide more of a service and I can't see myself every having to use the service. But if I needed to then I guess I could, if I could find someone to do what I do for less.

Less experience, willing to work for less, etc.

I wouldn't pay somebody to garden for me, nor could I afford to pay what I charge as a gardener.

I wouldn't pay for language lessons, nor could I afford the fee that students pay for mine (very little of which is broken down into wages). Usually they are wealthy, or their corporation pays.

I work in the shop where I buy my groceries, so, yeah, I can afford me.

Yeah, I guess I could and did so for years.. I work for a non-profit concert venue, my pay comes directly out of the doortickets. Off course there are shows that cost more then I could and would be willing to pay for but those are very rare (prince E100,- lauren hill E60,- Philip glass E50,- this very night) but most concerts are between E15,- and E30,- and most parties E8,- to 20,- euros
Am I happy I do not have to pay for shows any more though? Absolutely...

I bag groceries all day long but I couldn't afford to buy 1 average order for what I make in a week usually.

i get $10.30 an hour, eight hours a day, six days a week. the cars i produce wiring harnesses for average about $30,000. it would take sixty weeks of paychecks to purchase one.

...i'm gonna call a "no" on that
