This is an interesting story:

On March 11 1958, a US military craft, was transporting a nuclear bomb. The pin to secure the plane's doors was high up in the bomb bay, and the doors flung open. So the bomb fell out, and dropped on a girl's playhouse below. The captain managed to cling on, and hauled himself to safety.
There was an explosion, and the girl's survived, cos they had a few minutes earlier left the playhouse. They were, however, injured. A large crater was created.
Luckily, the nuclear core of the bomb was stored elsewhere on the plane.

I know yeah.
Oppenheimer's deadly toy.
As Jean Paul Marat (1743-1793) wrote:
Don't be deceived when they tell you things are better now. Even if there's no poverty to be seen because the poverty's been hidden. Even if you ever got more wages and could afford to buy more of these new and useless goods which industries foist on you and even if it seems to you that you never had so much, that is only the slogan of those who still have much more than you. Don't be taken in when they paternally pat you on the shoulder and say that there's no inequality worth speaking of and no more reason to fight because if you believe them they will be completely in charge in their marble homes and granite banks from which they rob the people of the world under the pretence of bringing them culture. Watch out, for as soon as it pleases them they'll send you out to protect their gold in wars whose weapons, rapidly developed by servile scientists, will become more and more deadly until they can with a flick of the finger tear a million of you to pieces.Don't be deceived when they tell you things are better now. Obviously not the first nuclear bomb. It would have been the first to detonate on American soil. Don't be obtuse

The title was really ambiguous/misleading. You probably could have put a bit more thought into it.

Well you know man, when I saw the article, I was like wtf, and was posting quickly. And the article does refer to the bomb as though it would have been the first to explode on American soil.
Sorry for my imperfections yeah. Maybe I should be as careful a thinker as you. Then I can catch people out on their posts in a smartarsed and pointless fashion
