Thousands of protesters have descended on the General Electric shareholders meeting in Detroit for the second day, including members of Occupy Detroit, unions, and activists from 99% Power, a new coalition of labor, immigrant, and community groups. On Tuesday, protestors successfully disrupted GE CEO Jeff Immelt's speech to demand GE pay the over $26 billion in back taxes they owed.

Yeah, there was the Wells Fargo one yesterday as well.

It's by 99% Power, which is direct action component of the Democrat-front 99% Spring. They're going to participate in May Day, but I don't know to what extent. It's worrisome, we'll have to see what they do on May 1st. Having more bodies on the ground is good, however. On a good note, the official 99% Power and 99% Spring website refer to May Day as an Occupy/immigrants rights event - so I think they're showing us respect.
