Many times, we may become despondent watching people elect or support right-wing groups, bigotry, anti-immigration, and so on. It frustrates us, makes us wonder whether any human being is worth caring for, and whether people are only getting what they deserve.

But there are people out there who need us - the poor, the sick, the oppressed. We have to suppress our frustrations at least for their sake, for the sake of their children. Love humanity - and love unconditionally.

Or, you may become cynical and give up the fight altogether. And that would only make things worse.

Enough with that sappy wishful thinking. :laugh: I don´t consider communists, myself included, as some saviors of mankind. I also don´t love humanity as a whole, neither conditionally or unconditionally.
