Something rather basic, I don't think too many here will have much to say but respectfully comment on what you think.

Nice one, mate.
I have a meeting with my LGBT Well Being Group this week, and I will pass the link on.

"homosexuality" is made up by modernity. before, screwing members of your same sex was considered just some taste, in the same way there is no identity for liking chocolate cake. its kinda dumb to be proud about what you do in bed imho

Pride is frivolous. I care not for "dignity" nor "respect" (which are of little more worth than "tolerance"; it is finding satisfaction in them that is the real defeatism), but have determined that only queer supremacy truly serves the interests of those of us who are labeled and othered according to our same-sex preferences (which -- I might agree with bmh here -- are a matter of taste: neither choice nor genes, in my view, but taste).

there is no identity for liking chocolate cake.
Are there people who hate you for your taste in cake? Has a fondness for chocolate ever been categorised as a mental illness? Have there ever been gangs beating up chocolate cake eaters?
No. Gay Pride is obviously a kickback against homophobia.
When there is no more homophobia, there'll be no further need to kick back.

As I've often said, the opposite of a stupid idea is another stupid idea.

and honesty the pathologization of homosexuality is pretty much an invention of western modernity too. there have been many societies where fucking other dudes wasn't really a big deal, at most it was some sort of excentric shit.

And as such pride would be useless in such societies, so again, have you even read my post?

What is this suppose to mean? How is someone "drinking the kool aid" by showing gay pride?

I don't particularly like the actual pride parades but my original post isn't necessarily defending that concept.
