Well, well, well.

Trouble at the mill:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2134000/Tory-MP-Nadine-Dorries-brands-David-Cameron-George-Osborne-arrogant-posh-boys.html

Nadine Dorries, has branded David "Dave" Cameron, and George Osborne, as "two arrogant posh boys" with "no passion to want to understand the lives of others".

What a shining accolade from one someone on their own team. But as a Tory MP herself, can she do any better, one might ask

Exactly.

And I bet her house is a hell of a lot grander than the ones we live in.

She was featured in one of those do-gooding documentary/reality style TV programmes, a while back. You know the sort of thing, 'see how the other half lives', 'Tory MP feels sorry for the unemployed poor' - and all that crap.

But yeah, from what I've understood of her, she is a right nasty piece of work. I just like to see Tories putting the boot into one another. Especially when it's really fucking ironic :)

she's incredibly socially conservative and backs it up by claiming it's basically a "werkin class" thing

and yes - i think i saw that too; the socially conservative paternalistic "working class" shtick really makes me sick to my stomach (see also frank field)

I absolutely loathe Frank Field. Frankly, he's a charmless individual. I don't think I've ever seen him smile on TV or in the media. Sums Labour up for me, tbh.

Dorrens is anti abortion pro death penalty and is a creationist. She's like our very own Sarah Palin or maybe just Ann Widdecombe

I think itīs actually a good thing if bourgeois, and especially conservative, politicians are "egocentric" and indifferant. At least then they are more likely leave you the fuck alone. There is nothing worse than parernalistic conservatives who "care".

It's better to be an arrogant rich boy with no interest in the lives of others than an arrogant working class girl actively campaigning to make those lives worse:lol:

I'm not British, but tbh she just sounds more honest than them. Except of course ideologically with the whole fundie thing.

Wouldn't exactly call most of what Cameron and Osborne have done while in power "leaving people alone" or not "making their lives worse", wouldn't say they have "no interest in the lives of others" either, Cameron likes to think of himself as a compassionate Conservative

I was just using her own attitude against her to insult her. I don't think she's better or worse that David Cameron.

Dorries the self-made woman lol. Working-class Tories are a boring species. The leader of the local Tories used to be a Telecom engineer, and a magistrate. He was of the 'hang 'em and flog 'em' mentality. Everytime I saw his pic in the local rag, I just thought 'buffoon'.

Of cos she isn't. They all piss in the same pot, irrespective of background, or how much they call one another out.

I was writing in general terms. I never claimed Cameron and Osborne were leaving people alone. The thing is it matters where the criticism is coming from, itīs validity is determined by the perspective itīs stated from. When a conservative politician has an "interest in your life" itīs always a terrible thing.
