The European Commission has admitted, that unemployment in the EU has reached an all time high. Average unemployment rates in the 27 member states has reached an average of 10.2 per cent:

Meanwhile, in the UK, the slight improvement in unemployment figures, is masked by lots of 'underemployment', and an increasing number of peeps being able to find only part-time work:

And long-term unemployment in the over-50s has soared:
