The European Commission has admitted, that unemployment in the EU has reached an all time high. Average unemployment rates in the 27 member states has reached an average of 10.2 per cent:

Meanwhile, in the UK, the slight improvement in unemployment figures, is masked by lots of 'underemployment', and an increasing number of peeps being able to find only part-time work:

People in the Uk are much better (economicaly) than people in the rest of europe, you have money to buy movies and games, we here in Portugal don't.

Of cos, comrade. The material conditions of workers in some countries, are better than others. But there are LOTS of peeps here, who have very little, and have no money for neccesities, let alone luxuries.
