Ok so regardless if there are aliens here or not can we get over it already and be like 'yeah we know it's old news'.

Why is there always a need for aliens to show off? Is it not enough to have the technological edge? Hey look a us do spin moves up here. I get it. When us lowly humans do shit like this its usually at an air show, and it almost never ends well. So is it just not enough to be better at it? Or is it just their thing to rub it in our faces? Smug I tell you, goddamn S-M-U-G SMUG!

In the original video (linked in OP) it looks less like a UFO. Someone in comments on the close-up suggested a drop of water, and that doesn't seem unlikely, especially how it drops off near the edge like that.

edit: and how it doesn't seem to move independently of the plane's movements....

basically, all evidence points to the fact that the OP is an absolute headcase.

It makes no sense to fly like that. It looks like a drup of water, but it moves too weird for that, perhaps.
Could be a small plastic ball on a string that is spun around, that appears to be far away given the seemingly low quality footage.

why isn't anyone else on the plane reacting to it

I think OP should change his title to Marxist-Trotskyist-Posadist-Chavista

That's immediately what I thought. The only "movement' it seems to do is a little spinning, which could easily be explained by shadows and lights.

Ya, but wtf IS that?!

Really? Nice observation there Copernicus

What I'm saying is; what causes such an unusual cloud formation?

Ok, obviously you have no idea, but are having some kind of problem admitting as such. If someone could just delete this entire conversation, the board would be better served. I'll just google it and find out on my own.

... G-D forbid someone have a genuine interest in something strange

Except it's not strange. It is a representation of atmospheric turbulence and humidities and what-have-you and not very unusual if you know when and where to look (the shore in the film might give you some clues as to a probable zone). Just as a cumulus is the top of a pillar of warmer more humid air interacting with cooler upper layers, this cloud is obviously the top of some smaller turbulent front system.

They are not called "lunatics" without reason.

And the fact that the clouds behind it are out of focus, which suggests there was a great distance between UFO and clouds...

It is a "Morning Glory" cloud, which is common in Queensland, Australia, from September to November.

The mechanism of their formation is not yet understood (so, no, according to our coolest non-philosophical philostrophers in revleft, one can not discard the possibility that it is a conspiracy by reptilian extra-terrestrials, pro-Bush Satanists and judeo-Bolsheviks, though evidently Mari3l forgot to mention nano-fibers in connection to it).
