In Sweden we call these farfarskeps, 'grandfather's cap'. Not sure what they are called in english. I've been in love with them for a while. Currently I own a black one but used to have an even nicer white one I bought in Riga, Latvia.

Lost that one a long time ago when I out partying, really annoying.

Really, though, I got in the habit of wearing them back a few years ago. Wear them ... frontwards ... and combine them with a bandanna and a hoodie and they're great for concealing your identity from cameras and the like.

Also when I was in high school I could use it to pull my hair out of my face when I was skateboarding. My hair isn't that long anymore, though.

I don't usually wear hats but when I do I usually just wear your regular baseball type hats. I have one that says "Tool" on it, one that says "brave" in Chinese. I also have a few old snapbacks from my child years that still fit that I might start wearing again because I guess they're in now. Like my Pokemon one.

But I wear beanies a lot more than I wear hats and I wear my Oakland Raiders beanie the most:

I tend to wear fedoras, Homburgs etc., and I wear these pretty much every day. And kippot, of course.

Of the latter I have all different colours, and people who happen to pass through my house and see them always feel they have to ask why I have so many different colours, as if there is some significance to them. Then I have to tell them it's just so that they will match the rest of my outfit. Then they call me a fashion victim. Big ouchies...
