Many atrocities were committed by the British Empire, during the days of imperialist occupation.

But as countries gained independence, many of the documents detailing such atrocities, were culled, or else trasnsported to Britain, and kept secret for years.

The documents were recently "rediscovered" (I wonder what kind of chaos the archives are if you can "rediscover" 200 meters on archive like that). But as far as I gathered the real incriminating stuff was burned on the spot and never shipped to Britain.

Too bad really. This is a big part of our history as a species.

I guess I really don't care all that much. There is no shredder big enough to cover up the crimes of the British fucking Empire. It was a piece of shit, I think that anyone with who reads even conservative bourgeois history should understand that.
