Palestinians Sign on: Support Church Divestment

Dear USPCN members and friends,
As you may know, there are two major divestment votes coming up at the general conferences of the worldwide United Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church (USA) to divest from Caterpillar, Moto Solutions, and Hewlett-Packard, all corporations that are complicit in supporting Israel in its occupation.
The divestment votes are happening in late April and early July, respectively. A win in either of these would be a landmark victory -- a major step forward for divestment in the U.S., empowering other institutions to take similar steps (see http://endtheoccupation.org/article.php?id=3171 for more info).
Here is a letter written by Palestinian Christians but open for signature by all Palestinians:

It is in support of the Methodist (and eventually Presbyterian) votes for divestment from CAT, Moto, and HP. The letter will be featured on a website to which voting delegates will be directed at the conference -- which starts in less than 7 days!
