You're right, but (at least here in the UK) the majority of people who don't go to university (or get really good apprenticeships) end up either becoming part of the bourgeoisie or work a dead end job, I don't see either of those as an option for myself.

I meant your only choices are to either start your own business/become self employed (thus becoming bourgeois or petit-bourgeois) or work a dead end job, because GCSEs are practically worthless, and A-levels aren't much better.
