Hi! It's great that you want to become active! As for how to do it, well, the early christians got one thing right: extra ecclesiam nulla salus -- there is no salvation outside the church. In other words, the best way to actually make a difference is joining a revolutionary organisation (or perhaps the youth wing of one).

There are plenty of them in England, although I'm not sure about the place where you live. Check if there is one present around there, that is ideologically close enough to your own views that you can work with them.

If not, you should still contact the closest one. I'm sure they will prove to be helpful. :)

How to find them? You've found Revleft, so you're halfway there. ;) There are lists of orgs in the Practice section of Revleft, and many of the larger orgs also have groups here (you can find the groups at the bottom of the main page). Or you can just contact people belonging to one by private message (PM).

Good luck!

1.Read Marx
2.Get Mirin' Aesthetics
3.????
4.WIN

Or if all else fails, forget everything Marx taught you and join the local branch of the CP-ML.

The only real way to do anything is to get talking to your colleges, try and get them to unionise.

Protests, sit ins, parliamentary politics, it is all redundant, the only way to bring about a real revolution is workers taking over their workplaces and seizing the means of production.

Anarchism needs to be brought back to a working man's politic based on workplace organising and based in the working class, rather than a symbol of counter culture and a lifestyle statement for youth, students and rich hippies playing romantic guerilla girl.

If you are still in high school, accept there is nothing you can do and have fun.

Still being in high school is definitely not an obstacle, I know several very committed activists who've been that way since around that age. I myself was considerably older, but it's very individual. If you feel that you are ready, you probably are. Nor does political activism exclude having fun.

But remember that as I said, it's hard to do much difference alone. There is a significant risk that you get demoralised that way. Even if there isn't an org close by they can still provide support from a distance.

Join a socialist party. The best one by far (in my opinion) is the Socialist Party.

They will teach you about communism.

No - because you come across as the political equivalent of some Jehovah Witness or Mormon acolyte, forever wanting to flog your tedious SPEW stuff to whatever unsuspecting punter you happen to buttonhole. You know how difficult it is to shake off those nice young clean-shaven individuals in suits on your doorstep with lame excuses about how you were "just on the phone and could they come back some other day perhaps " when all they want to earnestly talk to you about is how they know for sure that the world was created in 7 days cos its says so in the Book of Genesis and so on and so forth.

Well then...

Did you know Bolshevik artists produced 3,600 different propaganda posters in 3 years?

Meanwhile the impossiblists said 'oh no, you mustn't have a revolution'.

Lame. To think I used to have a bit of respect for you as a poster.

Give us all a break and stop trying so hard to make a prat of yourself most of the time. You know exactly what Im getting at - your rather tedious attempt to hardsell SPEW as if anyone really cares - and you dont have to invoke events of a nearly century ago to evade the point.

As for the impossibilists saying you mustn't have a revolution, well, that kind of confirms my suspicion that you really havent got the foggiest notion of what you are talking about most of the time

" Socialism was not only impossible because Russia was an "isolated backward country", socialism was impossible because, as well as that, the subjective factor - mass socialist consciousness and the desire for a genuine socialist society (not your state owned economy) - was more or less entirely absent"
