Does anyone else feel like they just don't fit in to this world? I can't really describe it but that's how I feel

Yes. I don't really fit into society's social trends. I'm pessimistic miserable cynic that anyone I have ever met cannot stand.

I don't know, I just don't feel content with anything... friends, family, myself, life, work, school...

I can definitely say the same about myself.

This just means your head is out of your ass. You'd be surprised, that you would be more miserable if you were optimistic.

Not really. We are of this world, which is why we can violently resist it.

I have mixed feelings around this sort of thing. Cos I have been excluded from the job market for so long, I used to feel this way a lot, like I wasn't part of things, not quite good enough despite giving it my best shot (study, applying for jobs etc).

On the brighter side, I have time to devote to activism, both in the political sphere, and the service-user movement of disability activists.

Exactly. To see through the bosses and their system, and the way that puts you at odds with many people, can lead to pessimissm and cynicism. But better to know the score, than be fooled and mesmerized by capital, their system and associated shite.

Yep. There is a world to win, so to speak. In the struggles to come, when it all kicks off, there will be frightening, but yet, exhilarating times.

I had a long rant typed out but then I realized it could all be summed up in the following:
"I love humanity, but I hate people."
Particularly the reactionaries who insist on throwing poorly thought out 'justifications' for capitalism at me at every turn. I'm all for debate but hearing the same bs arguments and in worst cases a sense of entitlement to privelege every week gets old really fucking fast. Guess that's what I get for majoring in political science.

I find fitting in very easy to do, being different is what I found more difficult.
