Latest medical research, is underway, to genetically engineer human stem cells, that actually hunt down the AIDS virus in living tissue.

The result good be that the virus could be eradicated from the body, rather than peeps having to take medicines to slow down the progress of this dreaded disease :)

Most AIDS victims are poor and minorities. I can only hope they will not have to sell what little they have to pay for treatment if a solution occurs.

I hope so too.

In the UK, we are lucky cos we have the National Health Service. But this is now under severe assault from privatization intitatives, and also from rationing of treatments and so on.

Free medicine and healthcare for all, worldwide. This is the way it should be.
