View Full Version : Spreading propaganda via children?

I've been posting recently on a kids forum known as Kidzworld, spreading anarchist propaganda to the political boards. I've been wondering if it's a good idea to spread propaganda via children; to get their parents to listen to their children about anarchism/communism is my main priority in this situation, even if it includes making a fake identity on a kids forum.

What are your opinions on all of this?

You'll probably just get these kids in trouble and their internet privileges taken away if they go to their parents about communism

That's basically what I was expecting. Either that or just passing it off as babbling.

Ah yes, propaganda for Children!

This would be counter-productive, as it would become a joke among children at some point. Kind of like the Ukrainian video game on Chernobyl.

Do it just for the halibut!

I'm kidding. Leave those kids alone. They are too young.

If you can persuade them not to urinate in public swimming pools, you will have brought on a qualitative leap in social values.

there are kids forums? and you're trying to convert kids to communism on them? Is this for real?

They are going to learn something regardless. Would you rather it be a leftist view or the random reactionary crap? Do it! Do it often and make it stick.

Well, at least you aren't spreading Communism since uh, we need to actually organize among workers and all that and not children on the internet who cannot comprehend politics.

Ismail, what did Hohxa say about spreading propaganda on the Internet to children?

In all seriousness, Ismail's post was spot on.

I was sitting on the sofa at my brothers place a few years ago, with his 8yr old son.Thatcher appeared on the TV screen. The silence was broken by my nephew. "Evil--Evil--EEEVIIILL !!!" "She'evil!"....My brother fixed me with a gaze, started shaking his head. "Don't blame me---I never mentioned that confounded woman to him." "He probably learnt it in school!!" Never underestimate children......

Actually I am writing a book "Dictatorship of the Proletariat for Toddlers". As an example:

P= Parents are potential class enemies!

Or redundant. Pretty much the same meaning though.

I think it's a bad idea. If you have created a fake identity, then you are misrepresenting yourself.

It smacks of indoctrination and manipulation as well. Let kids be kids yeah. They will grow up soon enough, become aware of issues in politics and society through school, the media, joining the workforce (or being excluded from it).

They will have time enough to form their own opinions. Hopefully they will become aware of the need for socialism and the revolutionary process.

After reading this thread, I've realized that it's probably a bad idea. I suppose I'll stop now.

So you think we should be preparing people who can't reach the top shelf and eat boogers for class warfare?

Dont mind the jokes and such, your intentions are good and all but usually the class conscious prolateriate has completed 5th grade.

wow the reaction to this has been really stupid. A large % of this board qualify as kids, people still at school I guess they don't count at all. There was a day when most parties had meetings especially designed to educate kids and entire youth wings for them to join. Educating people on the realities of capitalism is always a good thing no matter how old or young they are. It's certainly never a negative. However, in these fucked up times an adult posting on a kids board under the pretence of being a kid is indeed creepy as fuck and liable to get you locked up.

Posting on an internet forum for kids under 13 or so will not bring those days back.

MI is basically correct. The notion that it's wrong to 'indoctrinate' children into believing in socialism is a liberal one, it assumes that all ideas are equal, that socialism might be wrong etc.

Which of course is highly incorrect as socialism as a theory can be scientifically proven to be right. That said, yeah, the tactics of the OP are quite creepy-ish.

Dodger's belatedly thought of a witty riposte to his serious post.

Teachers are also potential CLASS enemies!! Splendid, does everyone 'get' the joke'? I'll explain.....it...actually you can ping....I will cover it for you. But do try to keep up to speed in future. Pupil>>teachers>>>>CLASS......VERY WITTY. iT'S A GIFT!!!

Oh dear! That has put me in a good mood. Laugh and the world......:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::lau gh:

Wifey has just looked up from her computer, glared at me. I have noticed a slight ripple, change of life. She is watching Youtube Autopsy Crime...graphic. Bits and pieces all over the shop. It is her latest interest. We seldom share a joke, must be a cultural chasm. English is not her first language. "Teachers"...Cla....." Waste of bleeding time....I do love her dearly though.....

Well I was in a good mood..:blushing::crying::crying:

It's funny until a reactionary teacher calls you out for wearing leftist symbols and pledging allegiance to the American flag and proceeds to argue with you for 15 minutes. :/
Actually, that whole experience was pretty funny. And also infuriating.

last year one of my teachers went and gave a lecture to one of my friends for having anarchy symbols all over his binder.. I stepped in I just basically agreed with her after the first 30 seconds

which was probably good fortunate because it is a small school....

I don't have a problem with it, so long as the posts aren't filled with commie jargon that they could make fun of later. Generalised anti-capitalist education rather than Communism called outright by name might go over better, but even so I don't expect most people younger than 12, who still look up to their parents, to very well comprehend that the ruling ideology is horseshit and etc..

I don't/wont even try to convince my own child of communism. I will allow him to participate in economic decisions democratically in the house hold and I hope this will cause a natural want for radical democracy and equality and he will find a radical current on his own. If he proposes anything insane (we should spend the rent money on candy) His mother and I can just block him. But I wont try to even indoctrinate my own child. Don't do it to other peoples children.

This tactic might be useful for far-right religious groups, or white power thug groups whose ideologies don't require (and are ironically more pervasive without) a working knowledge of theory, but with the likes of Marxism where a level of intelligence is required to both work the theory and principles and have them work for you, you'll be out of luck I think.

It doesn't matter if that lack of intellect comes from a simple mind or an undeveloped one. Empty knowledge is dangerous.
