I'm going to be honest. Neuroscience has only recently become a computational subject, the brain is still very much a black box and we get articles like these all the time. Some we like, some we don't, but while they are probably based in truth, neuroscience has a tendency more than other sciences to overstep its conclusions.

And the fact that the brain is a material object doesn't mean that we can tamper with it at will. My computer is also a physical object, but I won't get a list of google entries about "wet" or "liquid" by pouring water into it.

Perhaps it's time to tweak both cheeks of the capitalist's Arse, with steel toe-capped boots. Scientific journals are sparse with how effective that treatment is. My own studies have produced good empirical data.
