these are little questions that have passed my mind recently but I just need them answered. What is the movements stance on:
1. The advancement, development and training of soldiers and their arms in the post-capitalist world
2. tourism and recreation
3.The demographic organisation of peoples
4. The use of media (internet, TV, radio e.t.c.)

thank you in advance

1. In a communist world there would not really be a need for military force. Who would the enemy be? During a revolution where not all of the world is socialist there would be a need for armies to defend the revolution. I suppose that these armies would work in a more democratic way than armies today does. For instance I think the soldiers themselves would choose their officers.

2. One of the benefits of a socialist society would be a reduction in the hours worked. Workers will thus have more time to pursuit their own personal interests. As long as tourism and recreation can be done in an environmentally sane way (unlike today's air travel) it will have a greater role in the socialist society than in today's.

3. As for how people will be organised I neither think nor hope that the Stalinist practices of forced migration will be used. People will be free to choose where they want to live. As people are different they will prefer different places; some will like cities with their cultural life while others might like being closer to nature out in the country. I also think the way we design houses and neighbourhoods will change. Instead of focusing on profit architects of a socialist society will focus on making nice liveable neighbourhoods for everyone.

4. Technology will continue to advance in a socialist society but instead of being driven by profit it will be driven by the desire to make lives better or more enjoyable. Some technologies will More people will get access to modern technology and there will be a greater diversity among the media as the networks revert to worker ownership which will break the current bourgeois media monopoly.

1. Soldiers will no longer exist in the sense they do now. Beginning with the dictatorship of the proletariat, the militaries should be completely changed. Every worker armed and a workers' militia made.

The advancement of weaponry will be unnecessary, as war is a result of previous societies. It isn't human nature, it is imperialism, it is a result of the inequalities, of the class interests of the rulers of past.

2. Tourism will be something anyone can take part in. Once you get vacation time, you will be able to vacation anywhere in a communist world. Recreation will be easily more accessible as you don't have to have money to join, or whatever. Since you work a lot less, you will be able to take part in it even more.

3. More or less irrelevant.

4. Will be changed quite a bit, decommercialized, etc.

1.To protect Socialism an army will be needed.Every mass-destruction weapon shall be abolished,as they are creations of the imperialism.
The soldier will follow special courses to make him understand that his role is important in the society, but not more than others. The Army server the Society, not the contrary. Moreover, the Soldier shall be a conscript, with only a part of the High Command formed by Full-time commanders.Conscription helps in avoiding a threats to the existance of Socialism,in the way of keeping the Soldier in touch with the true society and not only with the military.

2.i guess it won't be really different than today. As pointed out by somebody in this post,in the limits of respect of the envinroment.

3.I think that there should be a limit to the demographic growth,to avoid a heavy impact on the Earth. That is teach people to use condoms and whatever without being ashamed.

4.Well,ads will be greatly reduced, and importance will be given to the spread of culture.

1. Soldiers won't be needed when communism is achieved, but when there are still borders/countries an army will be needed for defense and maybe to support revolutions in other countries/
2. Don't really think it will be much different.
3.I don't really have an opinion on this.
4. Since we aren't really close to a real world revolution yet, I don't think tv and radio will still be around. The internet will probably will be the same but without things like censorship and ads.
