I fucking love these guys. I found out about them a little while ago, but never listened to them too much at the time and never looked into their lyrics. This music is my definition of emotion and meaning, and when I looked into the lyrics yesterday my love for them grew x10. They sound pretty left wing with their lyrics about consumerism, homelessness, the objectification of women, homosexuality etc. (link at the bottom)

Lyrics for le song at 3:20 in the vid really stick in my head:

Role : No one has the right to judge the loving ways. The feelings are just owned by those who feel them and can not be codified or regulated by social laws or moral rules. The right to love shan’t be questioned, even if society contests it by just tolerating one love model that bounds this feeling and jails the individual by forcing him to conform his desires. To be born as a man or as a woman doesn’t determine the orientation of our feelings, nor the social roles we are imposed to act. The heterosexual model with all its restrictions opress the individuals and its aparent irefutability hide more than one pain. To be born as a woman or as a man doesn’t bound us in no logical, no obviousness, no preestablished role.

Wow, just wow.

Not screamo, but some nice french melodic hardcore that played in my city recently:

Forgot that I can't post links yet, so search youtube for Chicken's Call.
If you google them you can find the recordings and I believe that some lyrics for free as well.

I can't find any of their music online, just live videos, that's always frustrating. But yeah from their live videos they do sound a bit typical at times but I like it, I think my friend will like them so I'll pass it onto her IF I can find any recordings... even some of their CDs are sold out.

A few have been mentioned already, but France puts out a lot of good screamo, including but not limited to:
- Daïtro
- Sed Non Sataita
- Amanda Woodward
- Belle Epoque
- Aussitôt Mort
- The Third Memory
- Gantz
- Le Massacre du Client de 15 Heures
- Le Pré Où Je Suis Mort
- Mihai Edhrisch

All approved by yours truly. Great country for this music.

No one listen to him, his baguette had too much penicillin on it which knocked his head a little bit. Very nice song though, well done *patronising nodding*.
