Because ***** is inherently a sexist word (for the love of everything, it fucking means "female dog"). Calling people female dogs is sort of wrong. Dick is not really a sexist word by nature; it means penis.

i don't think this is what "*****" means when dudes use it. i think it just means an asshole woman in general, its the equivalent to "dick". i guess it depends how you use it, and its definitely gendered, but i don't think all instances of the use of that word are the same. i.e. some hip hop artist talking about his *****es or whatever is different from some dude getting pissed at some dickish woman.

One time I was having a go around here in the early days and some asshole interjected and said "Why don't you two just get a room." I was highly pissed off after that.

Another time my argument was shot down because " You're a female..what do you know.." something to that extent.

btw.. ***** is a unisex/gender neutral word to me..

my favorites over used retorts are... strawman, ad hominem, and especially intellectually dishonest. All just pointing out the obvious-- no need to state the fact.. one wouldn't say, "that's a verb", and "that's a noun" and "that's an adjective" -- would we now? Really? who says these things in real life?

No, I mean the actual word/and name calling out someone as "intellectually dishonest", (not in pointing out the fallacies). Anyone, can use that tactic to pad their particular point to discredit another point, regardless if it's true or not. The only valid confutation is employing those little menaces known as facts. Empty academic jargon doesn't prove that "your" premise is any more sound than the one refuted without providing a single substantiated fact to show otherwise.
